On-Call Psychologist

If you are a psychologist who is looking to work with an organisation where ‘people matter’, Assure is the company of choice. Assure is currently recruiting for On-Call psychologists to join our team to deliver high quality out-of-hours service across evenings and weekends. Using a pager system, the service operates on a roster basis covering weeknights and weekends. A typical roster would include one weeknight each week, and one weekend a month.

Key responsibilities:

Provision of after-hours on-call services including urgent EAP counselling, critical incident management and manager support.
Delivery of highly professional and ethical services, with a strong client-focus.
Timely completion of all administrative tasks and handover at the completion of the shift.

Essential skills, qualifications and experience:

Registration as a psychologist with a minimum of 5 + years’ post-registration experience.
Broad experience in clinical and counselling interventions with an ability to work autonomously.
The ability to react professionally and competently to unpredictable emergency situations.
